The Knights of Columbus Councils from both parishes are sponsoring a social event to Fenway Park to see the Red Sox play the Tampa Bay Rays Tuesday August 30th. Even Yankee fans are welcome! The bus will leave St. Matthew parking lot at 3:45pm sharp. This game is a 7:10pm start. The cost per person is $60.00 each and includes your ticket to the park , bus transportation, (Kelley Transport) and driver tip. There are 55 seats available and they will be offered on a first come first serve basis. Checks should be made out to the Knights of Columbus Council 6626. Annual Summer Toy Drop for the St. Bernard Bazaar We will be looking for your once loved Legos/ board games/ puzzles/ dolls and trucks . Get the kiddos to work cleaning out their toy chests and put those toys they no longer want aside for our bazaar.  The toy drive will be the weekend of Aug 27/28. Annual School Supply Drives St. Matthew & St. Bernard Churches are working with local organizations to collect school supplies for low income kids. We are in need of the following items:  new or gently used backpacks, #2 pencils, pens, rulers, markers, colored pencils, notepads, 3 ring binders, looseleaf paper -- college-rule, college-ruled notebooks, compostion books, plastic scissors, glue sticks, calculators, or gift cards to Staples, Wal-Mart or K-Mart.
