The Haitian Ministry is sponsoring our annual toy collection for the children of St. Pierre Parish, Ganthier, Haiti. Parishioners of all ages are invited to bring new, unwrapped toys up to the altar during Mass at both St. Matthew and St. Bernard Churches that weekend. These toys will be shipped to St. Pierre and distributed to their school children, who would otherwise receive nothing for Christmas. Toys should be small enough to fit into the shipping barrels and should not require batteries (they cannot be replaced) or include written instruction (they do not read English). If you have a loved one who is in the military in harm’s way, please contact the parish office to have your loved one’s name added to the St. Michael the Archangel prayer book. St. Michael is the patron of soldiers and will be regularly asked to intercede for the protection of our loved ones in the military.  Parishioners may request the addition of their military member’s names in this book at any time. The book will be prayed over on St. Michael’s Feast Day, September 29th, as well as other times of the year.

We have a great selection of Winter and Summer clothing, sizes Preemie to Size 18 and larger for our Youth. We carry First Communion and Flower Girl dresses, Baptismal outfits and Boys Sunday best. We have a few Halloween outfits to choose from and a good selection of winter jackets, and shoes. Our $5 a Bag Sale is always going on and specially priced items are 3 for $10. Annulment Workshop - September 13th

7:00-9:00pm St. Bernard Church Hall, Rockville If you are a divorced Catholic who would like to know more about annulments or is considering beginning the annulment process but aren’t quite sure what it is or how to go about doing so, consider attending this informational workshop. A panel of experts from the Diocesan Marriage Tribunal will be there to answer questions and explain the numerous aspects of the annulment process.
