If you love to read and want to learn more about our Catholic faith we have good news – St. Bernard & St. Matthew Catholic Community is piloting a book club starting in April! The purpose of the book club is to help participants on our Catholic faith journey to develop a deeper spiritual life, and strengthen our personal relationship with Jesus and with each other.
The meeting dates are April 23rd, May7th, and May 21st. We will have a morning session (8:45 - 10am) at St. Bernard Church & an evening session at St. Matthew Church (7 - 8:15pm). Register by April 16th to receive a welcome packet.
The book we’ll discuss is a classic and available free on Formed.org, Rome Sweet Home by Scott & Kimberly Hahn. It is an incredibly compelling conversion story of husband and wife that is written with clarity, grace and wit.
If you have questions about the book club or need assistance downloading from Formed.org, feel free to contact Mary Scibelli at 860-798-7529 or email@example.com.
The KofC Council #5779 has generously donated 100 paperback copies. If you would prefer to read a hard copy of the book please indicate that on the registration form.
