Sponsored by the Haitian Ministry for the children of St. Pierre Parish, Ganthier, Haiti

Parishioners of all ages are invited to bring new, unwrapped toys to the altar during Mass at either Church the weekend of September 21st & 22nd. The toys will be shipped to St. Pierre in time to give the kids a truly Merry Christmas.

Toys should be small enough to fit into the shipping barrels and should not require batteries (they cannot be replaced) nor include written instruction (they do not read English). This also means no English books. Suggested toys include black dolls, toy cars and trucks, bubbles, jump ropes, balls, stuffed animals, art supplies, blocks and building toys, Frisbees, jewelry, hair clips and bows, etc.

We will also be accepting cash donations. Checks should be made out to Blessed Sacrament Parish with "Christmas in September" written on the memo line. Envelopes will be available that weekend for any cash or checks and there will be a box on the altar in which to deposit them.
